Quick Introduction
As you use the site, you will frequently encounter the star controls. When you are logged in, anytime you see those stars you can rate, change or clear your rating. There are two basic ways they can look:
Yellow stars represent your ratings, and as you select ratings you will see the stars change to yellow.
Red stars represent your predictions, and you will begin to see predictions as soon as you have enough ratings in common with other people to generate them. Anywhere that you see the stars, if you have a prediction that has been generated, you will see it on the control.
Bear in mind that these ratings are entirely subjective. They are about how you feel about the show and about how much use it is to you. Rating a show as one star is not a "slam" on it but an indicator that it is not of use to you. Also, if your opinion changes over time, you should feel free to change your rating. Shows change, your feelings about them change and the more current your opinion is in the system, the better predictions you will get.
